The Birth of Healing Sounds: From Idea to First Users
During a walk, I realized that sound therapy apps were too complicated, synthetic, and pricey. I wanted something simple, authentic, and accessible—a way to transform well-being with effective sound therapy. That night, I couldn’t sleep, buzzing with ideas to create a minimalist app. By Saturday, I entered MONK MODE—a focused state—and started developing Healing Sounds.
By Sunday, the first lines of code were written with the help of AI. The concept, text, and website came together quickly. Instead of hiring a designer, I decided to learn new skills and keep it personal. After three intense days, the MVP was ready, with half the time spent on bug fixes. I wanted the app to truly shine, envisioning peaceful monks as symbols of calm.
Testing the app while walking, I felt the "glow" of 75 Hz low-frequency sound therapy. It was calming, perfect for stress relief. By Wednesday, the website was live, App Store images were done, and the app was submitted—just four days in. It was a fulfilling process.
Healing Sounds is now live, and the first users are feeling the benefits of low-frequency sound therapy. It’s exciting to see how it’s helping people relax, meditate, and reset their nervous systems with ease. The minimalist design, combined with Apple Health integration, ensures users stay on track with their healing journey—whether online or offline.
We’ve optimized the app for iOS, focusing on distribution efficiency and ASO strategies. I’m eager to get feedback from the indie community. The app has a three-tier model—a free 15-minute meditation session called GLOW, a yearly subscription, and a perpetual license with family sharing.
I’m thrilled to share Healing Sounds with the world, already bringing peace and relaxation to users. Try it, share it, and help spread the orange glow of sound healing and mindfulness. Let’s get the world glowing!
UPDATE: Today I expanded the library to a few more sounds: Rain & Thunder and By The River. The library will keep growing!
